- Project Champion – Typical implementations require an executive level individual (i.e. Superintendent) to assist in driving the cultural changes that are inherent with any software deployment.
- Identification System Administrators (one backup) – Our train-the-trainer model allows for us to deploy our solutions quickly and seamlessly. We empower individuals responsible for basic administration functions as well as the ability to add/change their individual solutions to accommodate specific changes in business processes when needed. These individuals are not IT resources but from the Business Office.
- Leverage Application Functionality – Our solutions are based on many hours of experience and have become very robust and feature rich. In order for our clients to realize the true potential of our application as they transition to an automated solution, it may be necessary to change existing processes to utilize system functionality rather than trying to customize the application.
- Phase Project implementation – ESM Solutions has implemented hundreds of Customers with a phased approach being the most successful. Although our application can be deployed quickly to many individuals, we suggest a phased implementation to allow for the gradual acceptance of the new application and processes that may accompany the transition.
- Measure ROI after six months – After several months of utilizing our solution, it may be beneficial to analyze the organization’s spend patterns to assist in driving supplier costs downward and enact consolidation activities to streamline operational costs.
